A paddling adventure through the undeveloped
mangroves of the Pacific coast! Explore the mangrove mazes of the
Hawaii-Monterrico Biotopo, known for its natural beauty and abundance
of water fowl and other exotic creatures. The flat lowlands of the
Pacific coast with the majestic volcanoes, from the western highland,
are an impressive and incomparable view.
After an intensive paddling day, arrive at
the bohemian and tranquil beach community of Monterrico; a unique
and tropical black sand beach. Spend the rest of the day bathing
under the sun or riding the huge Pacific waves. At the same time
enjoy of great sea food and plenty of cool drinks the hotel serves
to fight off the heat.
The next day tour the turtle reserve, where
sea turtles are bred for release back to the ocean. If you arrive
during the right days sponsor your own turtle and participate
in the "liberacion" (liberation)
