DAY 01
Arrival at La Aurora, Guatemala International Airport, where you will be greet and transferred for accommodation to Biltmore Express (04 ****).
   
 
DAY 02
Breakfast. Transfer from the city to the South Coast to visit La Democracia Archaeological Site. Here you will find a complete collection of gigantic stone heads, as remains of the Olmec culture. During the afternoon, transfer to Quetzaltenango; the country’s second most important city. Quetzaltenango is full of history, located in Guatemala’s high plateau in a big valley surrounded by volcanoes and high peaks. Overnight at Bonifaz Hotel (04****).
 
   
 
DAY 03
Transfer from the hotel to visit Zunil and Almolonga. Zunil is famous for its colourful weavings, made using pre-Hispanic techniques, with rich colours and designs that portray objects from the surrounding areas. Almolonga is a fertile-land valley, known for its vegetables and fruits cultivated on small parcels. In the afternoon, transfer to Panajachel, one of the villages located on the shores of Lake Atitlán, considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Here you will have an incredible view to three volcanoes: Tolimán, San Pedro and Atitlán. Overnight at Dos Mundos Hotel ( 03 ***).
 
   
 
DAY 04
Transfer from Panajachel to Chichicastenango, visit one of the largest and varied markets in and be witness of religious rituals at Santo Tomas Church, which has a splendid colonial architecture, built in 1540. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Panajachel. Overnight at Dos Mundos Hotel ( 03 *** ).
 
   
 
DAY 05
Transfer from the hotel to enjoy a boat trip across the beautiful Lake Atitlán. Visit Santiago where you will learn about the culture of the local people, famous for its women weavers and their typical clothes. In the afternoon, transfer to Antigua Guatemala; a colonial city full of architecture and history. A city that in 1979 was recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The beautiful Agua, Fuego and Acatenango volcanoes are silent guardians of Antigua’s streets and buildings, which are full of history and legends. Overnight at Posada Hermano Pedro (03 *** ).
 
   
 
DAY 06
Transfer from the hotel to visit the most important areas in Antigua, the tour includes visits to the Great Plaza, Cathedral, San Francisco Church, La Merced Church, La Azotea Cultural Center, Coffee Plantations and Jade Factory.

DAY 07
Transfer from Antigua to cross Honduras’ Border, visit Copan Archaeological Park, Copan has always been referred to as the most artistically advanced and elaborate of all the Maya cities. This park was declared humanity’s heritage site in 1980 by UNESCO. The legacy of the Maya can be found throughout the valley. The principal attractions in the main park are "Las Sepulturas", "Los Sapos" , the stelae surrounding the valley and the two museums. The Museum or Archaeology, which located in the town and the Museum of Maya Sculpture, located within the Visitors Center area of the Park.

DAY 08
Transfer from hotel to enjoy a boat trip across Río Dulce. Visit San Felipe Castle, a historical monument that was build during the XVI century to prevent the attack from pirates. Continue to Livingston, which is a garifuna population of afro-caribbean origin, visit Chocon Machacas wildlife reserve. Transfer to overnight at Catamarán Hotel ( 04 **** ).
 
   
 
DAY 09
Transfer from Rio Dulce to Guatemala City, visit on the way Quirigua Archaeological Site; founded during the Late Pre-Classic period, it contains the largest stelae ever discovered in the Mayan world. It is one of the smallest Mayan cities, but yet one of the most notable due to its splendid series of monuments. Nine stelae are arranged around the central plaza, accompanied by altars carved into zoomorphic shapes. The largest one, Stelae E, is eight meters tall. Transfer to Guatemala City for overnight at Biltmore Express Hotel ( 04 **** ).
 
   
 
DAY 10
Transfer from hotel to airport for departure.
