Arrival at La Aurora Guatemala International
Airport, where you will be greet and transferred to Antigua Guatemala;
a colonial city full of architecture and history. A city that in
1979 was recognized a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The beautiful
Agua, Fuego and Acatenango volcanoes are silent guardians of Antigua’s
streets and buildings, which are full of history and legends. Overnight

Breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to visit
the most important areas in Antigua, the tour includes visits to
the Great Plaza, Cathedral, San Francisco Church, La Merced Church,
La Azotea Cultural Center, Coffee Plantations and Jade Factory.
In the afternoon, transfer to visit Iximché, it is a Cackchiquel
archaeological site; it was the setting of many important historical
events. Many ancient architectural structures can be appreciated.

Transfer from hotel to Chichicastenango,
visit the most colourful indigenous open-air market of the country,
visit one of the largest and varied markets in the country; also
be witness of religious rituals at Santo Tomas Church, which has
a splendid colonial architecture, built in 1540. In the afternoon,
transfer to Panajachel, one of the villages located on shores of
Lake Atitlán, considered as one of the most beautiful lakes
in the world. Here you will have an incredible view to three volcanoes:
Tolimán, San Pedro and Atitlán. Overnight at Dos Mundos

Transfer from the hotel to enjoy a boat
trip across the beautiful Lake Atitlán, visit Santiago, where
you will learn about the culture of the local people, famous for
its women weavers and their typical clothes. In the afternoon, transfer
to Huehuetenango. This city is the land of landscapes and beautiful
mountains (The Cuchumatanes),
it was settled centuries ago by several indigenous groups. Overnight

Breakfast. Transfer from the hotel to visit
Zaculeu; used to be the capital city of the Mam Kingdom. This archaeological
site is formed by a series of plazas, stepped pyramids, temples
and ballgame courts. In the afternoon, transfer to Quetzaltenango;
the country’s second most important city. Quetzaltenango is
full of history, located in Guatemala’s high plateau in a
big valley surrounded by volcanoes and high peaks.

to the South Coast. Visit La Democracia Archaeological Site, where
you will find a complete collection of gigantic stone heads, as
remains of the Olmec culture. During the afternoon, transfer to

Breakfast. Transfer from Guatemala City
to cross Honduras’ border. Visit Copan Archaeological Park,
it has always been known as the most artistically advanced and elaborate
of all the Maya cities. Copan was declared heritage site of humanity
in 1980 by UNESCO. The legacy of the Maya can be found throughout
the valley. The principal attractions in the main park are "Las
Sepulturas", "Los Sapos" , the stelae surrounding
the valley and the two museums. The Museum of Archaeology is located
in the town and the Museum of Maya Sculpture is located within the
Visitors Center area of the Park. Overnight at Posada Real Copán
(04****).

Breakfast. In the afternoon, back to Guatemalan
territory. Visit Quiriguá Archaeological Site, founded during
the Late Pre-Classic period, it contains the largest stelae ever
discovered in the Mayan world. It is one of the smallest Mayan cities,
but yet one of the most notable due to its splendid series of monuments.
Nine stelae are arranged around the central plaza, accompanied by
altars carved into zoomorphic shapes. The largest one, Stelae E,
is eight meters tall. During the afternoon, transfer to Río
Dulce, this is the link between the Atlantic ocean and Izabal Lake,
it expands around 42 Kilometers and ends on Amatique Bay. Overnight
at Catamaran Hotel (03***).

a boat trip across Rio Dulce River. Visit San Felipe Castle, a historical
monument built during XVI century to prevent the attack from pirates.
Continue to Livingston, visit Chocon Machacas wildlife reserve.
In the afternoon, transfer to Flores, Petén. Petén
is the heart of the Mayan World, includes more than 200 archaeological
sites and Central America’s largest natural reserve. You will
be greet and transferred from the airport to Del Patio Hotel
(04****).

Breakfast. Early transfer from the hotel
to the airport for departing flight to Flores, Petén. Famous
Petén is the heart of the Mayan World, includes more than
200 archaeological sites and is also consider Central America’s
largest natural reserve. You will be greet and transferred from
the airport to Tikal National Park; it has the perfect mix between
nature and archaeology. All the trails in the park offer the opportunity
to come into close contact with the jungle and wild animals. You
will spend the day touring all the important areas such as, Central
Plaza, Northern and Central Acropolis, Temples I,II, III, IV, Lost
World Complex and Complexes N-Q-R. Lunch at the park. In the afternoon,
transfer to airport to board departing flight to Guatemala City.
