DAY 01
Arrival at La Aurora International Airport, you will be greet and transferred by a representative to Biltmore Express Hotel ( 04 **** ).
   
 
DAY 02
Transfer from Guatemala City to Las Verapaces Region. On the way we will make a stop at the ecological reserve Ram Tzul. Transfer to Cobán, this city conserves a traditional ambiance and several ancient buildings. Overnigth at El Recreo Hotel ( 03 *** ).
 
   
 
DAY 03
Transfer from hotel to visit San Cristobal Verapaz, where you can enjoy the famous Maya Temascal Maya Pocomchí, visit Centro Histórico and El Calvario, Chichoj Lagoon and we will observe some Mayan ritual. Transfer back to Coban. Overnight at El Recreo Hotel.
 
   
 
DAY 04
Transfer from Coban to Chisec, visit Candelaria Caves. Transfer to Flores, Peten, crossing La Pasión River, Sayaxché and Ceibal. Overnight in Flores Del Patio Hotel ( 03 *** ).
 
   
 
DAY 05
Transfer to visit Tikal National Park, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1979. Tikal has the perfect mix between nature and archaeology. All the trails in the park offer the opportunity to come into close contact with the jungle and wild animals. You will spend the day touring all the important areas such as the Central Plaza, Northern and Central Acropolis, Temples I,II, III, IV, Lost World Complex and Complexes N-Q-R. Lunch at the park. Overnight at Del Patio Hotel.
 
   
 
DAY 06
Transfer to visit Ixpanpajul Natural Park, located just 10 Kms. from Flores. Enjoy the skyway on six impressive hanging bridges, hill allow you to observe the marvelous variety of local flora and fauna in a unique and different way, just like a bird! Rest in the Mirador. During this half-hour you can rest in a comfortable hammock as you admire a 360 view of the majestic forest of Peten. Then Fly like Tarzan, through nine platforms and cables installed in beautiful leafy trees. It’s fun and daring, but safe. Camping in Ixpanpajul Park.
 
   
 
DAY 07
Transfer from Ixpanpajul to visit Yaxhá Archaeological site, see where the famous reality show “SURVIVOR” was filmed. This archaeological site has nine acropolis and five hundred structures, from one temple summit you can admire a view of the Yaxha Lagoon and the three islands of Cante, Paxte and Topoxte. Lunch. Transfer to overnight at El Sombrero EcoLodge.
 
   
 
DAY 08
After breakfast, transfer to enjoy the treeking in El Kuch and Holtún Archaeological Sites. Lunch. Transfer to overnight at El Sombrero EcoLodge.
 
   
 
DAY 09
Transfer from Yaxhá to Flores. Transfer to Rio Dulce, this is the link between the Atlantic ocean and Izabal Lake, it expands around 42 Kilometers and ends on Amatique Bay. Overnight at Tijax Ecolodge.
 
   
 
DAY 10
Transfer from the hotel to enjoy a boat trip across Rio Dulce River. Visit San Felipe Castle, a historical monument built during XVI century to prevent the attack from pirates. Continue to Livingston, visit Ak’Tenamit Chorti Project. Overnight at Tijax Ecolodge.
 
   
 
DAY 11
Transfer from Rio Dulce to cross Honduras Border, visit on the way Quirigua Archaeological Site, founded during the Late Pre-Classic period, it contains the largest stelae ever discovered in the Mayan world. It is one of the smallest Mayan cities, but yet one of the most notable due to its splendid series of monuments. Nine stelae are arranged around the central plaza, accompanied by altars carved into zoomorphic shapes. The largest one, Stelae E, is eight meters tall. Transfer to Copán, Honduras.

DAY 12
Transfer from hotel to enjoy the tour visiting Copan Archaeological Park, has always been known as the most artistically advanced and elaborate of all the Maya cities. Copan was declared heritage site of humanity in 1980 by UNESCO. The legacy of the Maya can be found throughout the valley. The principal attractions in the main park are "Las Sepulturas", "Los Sapos" , the stelae surrounding the valley and the two museums. The Museum of Archaeology is located in the town and the Museum of Maya Sculpture is located within the Visitors Center area of the Park. In the afternoon transfer to Guatemala City. Overnight at Biltmore Express Hotel (03***).
 
   
 
DAY 13
Transfer from Guatemala City to Antigua Guatemala, declared mankind’s inheritance by UNESCO, enjoy the full day tour, visiting the most important areas of Antigua: Central Park, Cathedral, San Francisco Church, La Merced Church, Jade Factory, La Azotea Cultural Center. Overnight at Posada Hermano Pedro ( 03*** ).
 
   
 
DAY 14
Transfer from Antigua to Guatemala City to Panajachel, one of the villages located on shores of Lake Atitlán; considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Here you will have an incredible view to three volcanoes: Tolimán, San Pedro and Atitlán. Enjoy a boat trip across the beautiful Lake Atitlán. Visit Santiago, where you will learn about the culture of the local people, famous for its women weavers and their typical clothes. Overnight at Dos Mundos Hotel (03 *** ).
 
   
 
DAY 15
Transfer from Panajachel to Chichicastenango, visit the most colorful indigenous open-air market of the country and be witness of religious rites at Santo Tomás Church, which has a splendid colonial architecture, built in 1540. Transfer to Guatemala City. Overnight at Biltmore Express Hotel.
 
   
 
DAY 16
Transfer from hotel to airport for your departure flight.
