Take a boat across the river to visit Ceibal, considered "The Mayan Art Gallery" because of its fine and well-preserved steles, you can also admire the unique Tolteca circular structure found in Petén. Transfer from hotel to Santa Elena’s dock. Take a boat across Lake Petén Itza, visit first Actun Kan Caves or Snake Cave with 33 formations in different shapes and sizes with names like "Frozen Casacade", "The Thinker", and vaults up to forty meters of height. Continuing the fluvial journey to visit Rey Canek’s mirador, here you can admire a complete sight of the lake. Visit also Petencito Zoo, where you can appreciate the rich flora and fauna of Peten’s Jungle. Lunch break. At the appropriate time, transfer from hotel to airport for departure. |
